About Margaret
Margaret is an experienced licensed clinical social worker who approaches therapy from a holistic, relational perspective that draws on your strengths and life experience. Margaret believes that people who come to therapy have internal resources that can help them, and that sharing your story in a safe, accepting place creates powerful growth and healing. Margaret's approach to therapy is centered around a Gestalt perspective, seeing challenges in life not just as "symptoms" but as opportunities for change. Margaret views the therapy relationship as collaborative, honoring each person's unique story and encouraging them to start where they feel they can, while also helping clients to get "unstuck" and move forward. Margaret helps clients gain insight & learn coping skills and develop deeper, more meaningful connections to self and others. Highly regarded by clients as warm, easy to connect with, and down to earth, Margaret creates a safe environment that allows for healing and change. Margaret has dedicated her professional practice to empower clients to overcome adversity, to recognize inner beauty and strength, to build strong relationships, and to live their fullest and most meaningful life.
